What I LOVE about this machine My opinion is based on only a few weeks of loads actually washed. What I LOVE about this machine, verses the former only 5 year old Maytag ruined due to lid lock freezing mid cycle simply because electricity outage during cycle broke the lid lock mechanism causing $300 repair quote.. #1) The water actually fills up the basin to top. 5 months in, happy with purchase I have had this machine for 5 months now. I purchased this brand/model because, like many people, I recall my grandparents having a washing machine for 30 years. My last two machines lasted 6-10 years each. Admittedly, they both cost less than this one – I paid $900 for this and around $600 for each of the last two.
