Utilizing Avallon’s exclusive Invisi mist drain technology, the APAC140C liberates you from ever having to drain an internal reservoir again. As warm air and humidity are normally associated, we engineered this portable air conditioner (PAC) to remove up to 86 pints of moisture from your air per day. In many cases, the APAC140C’s self evaporative function will expel the majority of air moisture. However, in high humidity environments, self evaporation is not enough. Excess water accumulates in the internal reservoir and, to prevent itself from overflowing onto your floor, a PAC will automatically turn off. This can happen at any time and will require you to manually drain the PAC. The system solves this problem. Consisting of an internal drain pump, a water line and our nozzle, the system automatically turns on when water accumulates and safely disposes of it through the easy-to-assemble window kit. This unit is more powerful than other 14,000 BTU PACs, cooling your space up to 40% more quickly because of its dual hose air system, which separates intake and exhaust, allowing for more air intake and cooling power. The three (3) adjustable fan speeds allow you to customize the unit’s operations to suit your cooling preferences. Included casters allow you move this PAC to wherever you need it and the included remote with LED display enables you to easily change operating settings. Finally, the auto restart function stores your settings so that in case of a power outage, the unit will pick right back up where it left off when power is regained.

Still waiting to see how it performs in the long run. The first one arrived earlier than expected, set it up plugged it in and it didn’t work. I called customer service at the manufacturer the next day, I was issued a call tag and returned it on a Saturday. The new one arrived on Tuesday, and so far it works great. So now it is not pumping the water out to drain the unit and because of that, it shuts down. I’m calling customer service ASAP. We’ll see what happens. Update. . I called “customer service ” explained that the unit is not…
excellent product, no need to drain condensate, much quieter than previous units I had We live in a 1832 square foot ranch style home. Five years ago I purchased an LG single hose portable 14,000 btu model and also a frigidaire single hose 14,000 btu model. These units situated at each end of the house would barely keep it below 80 on warmer days and would constantly need to be drained otherwise they will shut down which led me to running condensate lines from the units down into the basement drain otherwise they are pretty much useless and draining the units itself is a…
Worth the money I bought this for my bedroom which is around 150sqft. This cools it really well. My room gets really warm, as a I do and itâs way more expensive to cool our home using our AC system. Especially since our home has tall ceilings. This unit was easy to set up and easy to use. I love having the remote so I can turn it on or off without getting up from my bed. I turn it on for an hour or two to cool my room down and turn it off. My room stays cool as long as my door is closed so I donât have to run…
